Sculptures & Paintings

A third generation artist, James E Wood has enjoyed finding interesting rocks and fossils, and releasing them to show their inner beauty.  This experience has led to a passion of stone carving, using the mediums they offer, and creating stunning sculptures, each with its own unique story.  Currently the geological wonders of the Badlands of Drumheller, Alberta are where he calls home. The area, rich in form, textures and colour, not to mention fossils, provides inspiration to draw upon in the pursuit of his artistic endeavours.
